I was diagnosed with five metastasized colon/rectal cancer tumors in my liver.
At the start of my chemotherapy I began receiving Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine and Dietary recommendations from Rory Oetomo. After two months of treatments a CT-Scan showed that three tumors had slightly decreased, two were stable and three were no new tumors.
Although we don’t know to what extent any one of these treatments contributed to my favorable CT-Scan results, I do know that I would not have been able to handle the chemotherapy as well as I am without Rory’s expertise in Chinese Medicine.
My original intent in seeking Acupuncture treatments from Rory was to support my body as I undergo chemotherapy. One of Rory’s great strengths is his willingness to integrate Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
I feel very fortunate to have entered into my relationship with Rory. His expertise has filled in the gap that Western Medicine has yet to consider seriously. I believe that this holistic approach will be a significant factor in dealing with this illness.
I am looking forward to a long relationship with Rory well beyond my current need.
